"Polychromos" - Multiple colours, describes a certain type of work I do, involving blank sheets of paper overlaid with colours in lines and fields to produce a 'design.' While other work may fall into this description, the main distinction in this category is that paper is generally letter size or A4, and the work is done with pens--generally in a cafe or other oublic gathering place.
